My practice is interdisciplinary. My methodology allows me to move freely through  disciplines spanning performance art, moving image, sculpture, installation and writing. The core of my practice is performance art but more specifically my interests lie in the relationship between the object and the body. My work explores the agency within the space and through ritual explores the intimate history between myself and the object that informs the action. The concept of significance is crucial to my practice. My work examines how the significance of the object to the body can be seen as a key catalyst in enabling the body to naturally yield into a truthful duet with the object. Working sculpturally my work investigates the ways in which visual significance can be applied to an object. This exploration continues in performance, working with the intimacy created through significance. My practice introduces the objects as active participants in creating the work, collaborators in the search for equilibrium.

Moving image in my practice, is born from the live action, as I tackle the issue of documentation. My practice works across disciplines whereby video becomes sculpture, sculpture becomes performative and the body stands as sculpture in the space.

Although my work can move between disciplines, my practice is always rooted and charged in its location as I explore relationships between the body, object and place. My practice is underpinned with theatricality and humour with undertones of spiritualism.
